Version 1.7.2.31 (08.23.2007) include updates, enhancements and bug fixes. The bugs and drawbacks of the previous version has been fixed, the user interface of the program has been partially revised and modified.
Version 1.5 (09.26.2006) has a lot of new features aimed at enhancing the usability of the program. Particularly, the following things have been added:
- Powerful features for controlling overdue tasks;
- Filtering and grouping any data;
- Previewing tasks (without opening documents);
- Adding attachments to tasks;
- Text formatting in the descriptions of tasks, for example, now you can insert tables, images and hyperlinks;
- Sorting folders alphabetically;
- The bugs related to sorting tasks by priority and status have been fixed;
- Supporting *.jpeg files;
- The program interface has been partially modified;
- Keeping the order of fields in any tables;
Version 1.4 (06.21.2006)
The new version is distinguished by its new higher quality interface, new features for controlling and analyzing tasks created in the program are available. Major changes:
- The bugs and drawbacks of the previous version has been fixed, the user interface of the program has been partially revised and modified.
- The calendar section has been completely rewritten. Now you can see all recurrent tasks and tasks with reminders in the calendar, you can move tasks, change their length, delete and add new ones looking at the timeline.
- The "Today" section has been considerably updated. Automatically generating the task schedule for a certain date and for several days ahead, sorting tasks by their start time, displaying recurrent tasks.
- The dialog box for specifying reminders, recurrent tasks, etc. has become more user-friendly and intuitive. Now you specify reminders and recurrent tasks in a wizard with text comments.
- Now it is possible to create templates for reminders, recurrent tasks, etc., which will allow you to considerably reduce the time of specifying a reminder or a recurrent tasks for example.
- It is possible to insert hyperlinks in the text of a task.
- A simple image editor integrated into the program allows you to insert pictures, charts and photos in the text of a task.
- The task import/export wizards have been revised.
Version 1.2 (10.01.2006)
Bugs, drawbacks and minuses detected in the first version of Alive Task Manager are fixed. Now Alive Task Manager is a full-featured scheduling environment. Although the number of the new version is not much higher than the previous one (from version 1.0 to version 1.2), Alive Task Manager is considerably improved. In particular, the following features are added:
- Calendar visually displaying tasks scheduled for a day, week or month. The calendar displays tasks as blocks located on the timeline and you can visually perceive which tasks overlap, which tasks follow each other and how long this or that task takes.
- The additional "Tasks for Today" tab is added. If you use this tab at the beginning of your workday, you can get a comprehensive view on all scheduled tasks. Tasks scheduled for several days ahead are also displayed.
- Now you can print schedules for a day, week or month.
- With the simplified navigation between key resources of Alive Task Manager, you will quickly, conveniently and visually get all the information you need.
